Parker Electromechanical in Mexico is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead design, development, testing and validation of new products and systems. You will solve engineering challenges, analyze data, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design.

• DFSS Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.
• AutoCAD and Inventor knowledge required.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

Position Summary

Responsible for the design, development, testing and validation of new products, components and mechanical systems. This role focuses on innovation, technical analysis and engineering problem solving to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Works with cross functional teams and business requirements to give reliable and manufacturable mechanical solutions.

• Conduct engineering analysis, simulations and calculations to support design decisions and ensure product performance and reliability.
• Develop and execute test plans, including prototype, testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation such as drawings and specifications. BOM´s and technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Management during product development.
• Support designs for manufacturability, design for assembly, and cost optimization activities.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Support product changes, engineering change orders and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal engineering guidelines.
• Applies emerging technologies, materials and engineering best practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• +6 years of experience on mechanical design
• Advanced English
• Experience on injection molding, machining and die casting design
• DFSS Green Belt, Black Belt (prefer)
• Must AutoCad and Inventor knowledge.
• Knowledge in materials and manufacturing process.
• Desirable Experience in Pneumatic Product Design.
• Engineering drawing standards
• Experience in testing methods, analysis tools and validation process.
