Medtronic in Mexico is seeking a Senior Specialist to help ensure applications stay in optimal condition by developing work plans and following up on projects aimed at eliminating WOTs.

You will investigate and resolve user-reported issues, collaborate with IT teams, and drive data-driven improvements across systems, ERP modules, and custom integrations, leveraging your software development and AI knowledge.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the same role.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Software development and ERP systems experience.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement strategies to ensure applications stay in optimal condition and develop work plans for projects.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by users of installed systems to improve uptime and reliability.
  • Define use cases and collaborate with BRM, stakeholders and IT Product Owners to govern changes.
  • Drive business agenda during solution delivery and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.

A Day in the Life

We are seeking a professional to implement strategies that ensure applications remain in optimal condition by developing work plans and providing follow-up on application projects aimed at eliminating WOTs. This role will also be responsible for investigating and resolving issues reported by users of installed systems, contributing to operational efficiency and service continuity.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Engages with business leaders to understand how strategies and data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value.
  • Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services.
  • Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes.
  • Drives business agenda during solution delivery process.
  • Functional Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends in order to develop recommendations to solve business problems.
  • Additional Skills: Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication.
  • Technology: Understanding of systems, software and technological concepts, Familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
More than 8 years of experience in the same role
Advanced English
Software development experience
SQL administration experience
Knowledge of customs systems, specifically ZOE
Application development experience
ERP system experience
Project management experience
Experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
Experience with Artificial Intelligence technologies
Knowledge of C# .NET
