Bosch México is seeking an experienced EPQ professional to assist the project manager and development team with quality issues, escalating product quality risks and supporting preventive measures during development.

The role involves deep metrics documentation, quality gate activities, risk mitigation, and reporting, with advanced English and willingness to travel as needed.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
  • Expert knowledge of process reference models (ASPICE/CMMI).
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 26262.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • 8–9 years professional experience in quality/engineering.
  • Mandatory problem solving, requirements engineering, change/config/release management, systems engineering, and V‑Model knowledge.
  • Desirable: project management, quality gate moderation, ASPICE certification, V&V knowledge.

Responsabilidades

  • Create, report and improve Process Compliance Checks.
  • Document project metrics in depth.
  • Create, apply and follow up on improvement actions.
  • Apply preventive quality measures and analyze deeply.
  • Prepare Quality Gates and support Engineering teams.
  • Maintain product knowledge to understand requirements.
  • Participate in development meetings as analyst.
  • Make decisions from a quality perspective.
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Report to Management and present monthly status.
  • Support department initiatives and events with cross‑functional teams.

Job Description

The EPQ assists the project manager and development team on quality issues, identifying and escalating product quality risks. It supports planning and reporting of preventive quality measures during development, ensuring effective implementation. Performs additional tasks assigned by the team leader to aid quality department initiatives.

Key Responsabilities
  • Creation, reporting and improvement of Process Compliance Checks.
  • Deep documentation of metrics of the project.
  • Creation, application and follow up of improvement actions
  • Application of preventive quality measures and deep analysis
  • Quality Gates preparation, consultant and support to Engineering teams
  • Software Product knowledge to understand requirements
  • Active participant and analyst on Engineering team development meetings
  • Decision maker on Quality perspective
  • Identification and mitigation of Risks
  • Reporting to Management
  • Propose and execute various activities on the implementation of the department's competencies and provide support in initiatives, proposals and events.
  • Create and present to the team leader and department director, the monthly report on the status of assigned activities.
Qualifications

Language Required: Advanced English

Availability to travel: Yes

Professional Experience (years) : 8-9 years

Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • SW/Mechanical/HW experience
  • Expert knowledge of process reference models (e.g. ASPICE, CMMI).
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 26262.
  • Problem solving- mandatory
