Baxter Healthcare in Mexico is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to apply engineering experience to sustain and improve manufacturing processes, from design changes to line balancing. You will lead technical guidance, mentor technicians, meet with customers and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement using tools like DOE, PFMEA, and process validation.

Bilingual Spanish-English, a degree in Engineering or related field, and at least three years in manufacturing are required.

Formación

• Engineering degree or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and lean methodologies.
• Bilingual Spanish-English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical and safety guidance to technicians, designers, and other team members.
• Lead projects and coordinate with external customers and suppliers to solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Participate in project planning, including scheduling, cost, resources, and workforce load.
• Integrate and improve existing processes from other Baxter sites and develop manufacturing processes.
• Design and implement production fixtures/tools and inspection equipment as needed.
• Plan capacity (equipment, labor, space) and maintenance strategies, monitor production performance and downtime, and drive corrective actions.
• Execute transfer activities of manufacturing to new sites and develop production routers.
• Apply engineering tools such as Problem Solving, DOE/ANOVA, PFMEA, and maintain process instructions and BOMs.
• Develop and complete process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ/TMV) ensuring changes meet specifications.

Your role:

The Senior manufacturingEngineer apply experience, training and acquired engineering techniques to tackle problems encountered in design, redesign or troubleshooting. This role is full focus on sustaining projects, since the beginning to the end. Experience on materials and design changes, validations, as well as line balancing are needed to be successful on this role.

What you'll be doing

Supports and/or provides technical and safety guidance or mentoring to colleagues, technicians, designers, drafters, model makers and others. May serve as project leader.

Meet with external customers and suppliers to exchange information and help with more difficult technical problems.

Participate in project planning and may lead portions of large projects to include scheduling, supervising costs, resources, workforce load, etc.

Integration of existing processes (through transfer from other Baxter sites) and development and continuous improvement of mechanical device manufacturing processes.

Design and implementation of production fixtures/tools and inspection equipment as needed.

Capacity (equipment, labor, space) and maintenance planning and strategies, production performance, efficiency, downtime tracking and corrective actions.

Execution of activities related to the transfer of manufacturing to the new manufacturing site.

Cycle time estimation, tracking and development of production routers.

Implement engineering tools such as Problem Solving, Statistics (DOE/ANOVA Etc.), PFMEA Etc.

Development and maintenance of manufacturing process instructions (process sheets, MPS), routers and bill of materials.

Development and completion of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ/ TMV) while ensuring that changes made to specifications, methods, processes or procedures are verified or, where applicable, validated in accordance with the organization.

What you'll bring

• Professional in Engineering or related

• Experience in manufacturing and Lean Methodologies, projects implementation and implementing new manufacturing tools. 3 years minimum.

• Bilingual Spanish-English.
