About the role

• Create end‑to‑end visibility into our operations: Build, refine, and own the core metrics that define operational excellence across production, fulfillment, logistics, and last‑mile delivery. Develop dashboards and reporting that help teams quickly identify bottlenecks, quality risks, and cost drivers. Success will be measured by adoption of these tools across Ops teams.
• Improve delivery reliability & carrier performance: Analyze carrier network performance, route efficiency, delivery timeliness, and cost‑to‑serve. Partner with Logistics, CX, and carrier partners to identify root causes of delivery failures and design experiments that improve reliability and reduce costs. Success is measured by improvements in DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time), reduction in delivery exceptions, and cost optimization.
• Drive the “Perfect Experience” for eaters: Identify operational drivers of negative experience—late deliveries, damaged meals, missing items, incorrect packaging, etc.—and prioritize high‑impact improvements. Collaborate with Ops, Culinary, Quality, and PX to design and track initiatives that reduce defects and elevate the eater experience. Success will be measured by improvements in review ratings, reduction of experience‑related tickets, and fewer operational defects.
• Optimize processes across the Operations value chain: Map, measure, and improve key operational workflows (production throughput, packaging accuracy, fulfillment productivity, routing logic, etc.). Use data to quantify inefficiencies and propose solutions that unlock scalability and consistency. Success will be measured by measurable process improvements, automation opportunities unlocked, and increased throughput or accuracy.
• Lead deep‑dive investigations on operational issues: Own the analytical process for understanding emerging operational challenges (e.g., spikes in delivery failures, packaging issues, fulfillment delays). Translate findings into actionable recommendations for cross‑functional teams. Success will be measured by speed from detection → insight → resolved root cause.
• Enable teams to self‑serve operational insights: Build self‑service tools and standardized reporting that empower Ops and Logistics teams to monitor their own performance, diagnose issues early, and drive continuous improvement. Success is measured by tool usage, reduction in ad‑hoc requests, and better decision‑making velocity.
