NAPS Careers in Mexico is seeking a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate our AWS-based platform. You will own critical infrastructure, deliver secure and scalable cloud-native solutions, and improve developer experience through automation and self-service.

You will work across multiple environments, drive GitOps with Argo CD, manage EKS with Crossplane, and build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions while championing reliability, observability, and security.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Strong AWS expertise, including networking, IAM, security, and the EKS ecosystem.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience implementing GitOps workflows with Argo CD.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for observability and monitoring.
• Strong Linux, networking, and distributed systems troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operational guides.
• Understanding of database fundamentals and relational data concepts.
• Background in Computer Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, or Security.
• Comfortable participating in platform support and operational issue resolution during business hours.

We're looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to help build and evolve our cloud platform on AWS, with a strong focus on Kubernetes (EKS), GitOps, automation, and developer enablement.

In this role, you'll own critical platform infrastructure that powers engineering teams across the organization. You'll be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-native solutions while continuously improving the developer experience through automation and self-service capabilities.

We're looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership who takes pride in building resilient systems, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and collaborates closely with teammates to drive technical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including serverless services and cloud-native architectures.
• Implement security, scalability, and reliability best practices across the platform.
• Create guardrails and automation that enable engineering teams to deploy infrastructure safely and consistently.
• Manage provisioning and lifecycle operations for EKS clusters using Crossplane.
• Own day-2 operations, including upgrades, autoscaling, add-on management, and platform reliability.
• Establish standards and best practices for operating Kubernetes at scale.
• Drive and maintain our GitOps model using Argo CD.
• Design deployment strategies and promotion workflows across multiple environments.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including testing, linting, security scanning, and automation.

Infrastructure as Code

• Contribute to our Crossplane platform strategy, including compositions, XRDs, and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Enable teams to self-service infrastructure through well-designed abstractions and automation.

Observability & Reliability

• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
• Develop dashboards, operational standards, and runbooks that improve platform visibility and reliability.
• Create tools, automations, and self-service capabilities that accelerate software delivery.
• Champion developer productivity and treat platform engineering as an internal product.

Technology Innovation

• Evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies and CNCF projects.
• Continuously evolve platform capabilities to keep our engineering ecosystem modern and efficient.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
