Softgic S. in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead cloud architecture, automation, and deployment of cloud-based software products.

You will drive Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable AWS infrastructure in a highly Agile environment. The role requires 12+ years of hands-on DevOps or related experience, deep AWS expertise, and strong collaboration across Development, QA, Operations, and Product teams.

Formación

• 12+ years of DevOps, Cloud/Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure and architectures.
• Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and production cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

We are looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership and contribute to the architecture, automation, deployment, and operation of cloud-based software products.

This is a highly technical role within an Agile engineering environment , working closely with Development, QA, Operations, Architecture, and Product Management teams. The successful candidate will help define and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, modern DevOps practices, automated deployment processes, and reliable CI/CD solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, automation, and cloud architecture , along with the ability to solve complex infrastructure, security, and software delivery challenges.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience .
  
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and supporting cloud infrastructure and architectures .
  
• Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and production cloud environments.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, infrastructure optimization, scalability, and operational reliability.
