CHINT, a global provider of industrial solutions, is expanding in Mexico and seeks a Finance–Cost Accounting professional in Querétaro. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of cost accounting experience with ERP (SAP) and MS Office.

English is required; Chinese is a plus. You will analyze manufacturing costs, assist month-end close and reporting, budget and forecast, manage inventory, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with

Responsabilidades

• Cost Accounting & Analysis: Calculate, analyze, and report on manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead. Conduct variance analysis to explain discrepancies between standard and actual costs.
• Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and ensure timely month-end close. Prepare cost analyses and profitability reports for management.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the development of annual production budgets and forecasts; monitor actual performance against budget.
• Inventory Management & Control: Oversee inventory transactions, ensure valuation accuracy, and lead regular inventory counts.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and streamline processes.
• Compliance: Ensure accounting practices and reporting comply with policies and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting & Analysis: Calculate, analyze, and report on manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead. Conduct thorough variance analysis to explain discrepancies between standard and actual costs.
• Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements and ensure a timely month-end close process. Prepare detailed cost analysis and profitability reports for management. Develop and maintain cost models to identify areas for cost reduction and optimization.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the development of annual production budgets and forecasts. Monitor ongoing actual performance against budget and provide insightful commentary. Contribute to the creation of budgets for production costs and monitor actual costs against budgeted amounts.
• Inventory Management & Control: Oversee inventory transactions, ensure inventory valuation accuracy, and lead/participate in regular physical inventory counts and audits.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Production, Supply Chain) to identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives and process streamlining opportunities. Assist in financial analysis and forecasting related to production costs.
• Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices and financial reporting comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
