United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Consolidation team to ensure precise, transparent financial reporting across the global business. You will own monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations in FCCS, manage intercompany processes, and support acquisitions with COA mapping and cutover activities.

The role demands strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance and efficiency

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years in accounting with consolidation experience.
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders; thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
  • Experience with consolidations, master data governance, or international accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations in FCCS with data loads and eliminations.
  • Own day-to-day consolidation operations, seek process improvements.
  • Guide FCCS design, configuration, upgrades, and reporting with Systems team.
  • Lead financial system integration for acquisitions including COA mapping and cutover.
  • Support M&A events and entity lifecycle activities such as ownership changes.
  • Analyze FX movements impact on P&L and balance sheet.

What You'll Do
  • Execute and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations in FCCS, including data loads, eliminations, intercompany matching, journals, close orchestration, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the consolidation subject matter expert, owning day-to-day operations, driving ongoing optimization, and implementing process improvements.
  • Serve as the FCCS functional authority, guiding application design, configuration, upgrades, consolidation logic, reporting, and system enhancements in partnership with the Systems team.
  • Lead financial system integration activities for acquisitions, including Chart of Accounts mapping, validation, parallel testing, and cutover.
  • Support M&A and entity lifecycle events, including acquisitions, mergers, dissolutions, ownership changes, and functional currency changes.
  • Analyze and communicate the impact of foreign exchange movements on the P&L and balance sheet.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working in consolidations, master data governance or as an international accountant
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate key information and status to stakeholders
  • Possess excellent analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work well in ambiguity and manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud suite of products (FCCS, EDMCS)
  • Experience in system implementation or upgrades
  • Individual should work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Big 4 experience, consulting or audit experience with multinational engagements
  • CPA certification (or working towards it)
  • Systems-thinking mindset with a mix of public company experience and Big 4 audit experience.
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification.
