Polaris Inc. operates a global distribution center for PGA products and seeks an Operations Supervisor to drive efficiency, quality, and on-time order fulfillment. The role oversees daily activities, budgets for labor, packaging, and maintenance, and prepares performance reports.

Ideal candidates have hands-on leadership with strategic capabilities, experience in large-scale automated warehousing, and a track record of improving safety metrics and operational performance.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business Admin, Engineering, or Logistics).
  • 3–5+ years in large-scale automated distribution operations or manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving with metrics-driven solutions.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets and supervising staff.

Responsabilidades

  • Oversee departmental operations and special projects to ensure efficiency and alignment with daily order fulfillment goals.
  • Evaluate and improve processes; manage budgets related to labor, packaging, and maintenance; prepare performance reports.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources and temporary staffing agencies to maintain optimal staffing levels.

We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead a high-performing team at Polaris’ global distribution center for Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PGA). This role is key to driving operational excellence by overseeing daily activities, managing special projects, and ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity targets are consistently exceeded.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams and efficient processes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AS400, SolidWorks, RF/barcode technology, and automated sorting and material handling systems.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and sustain measurable improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and a track record of exceeding safety metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex ideas across diverse teams and levels.
  • Experience in Shipping, Receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing departmental operations and special projects to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with daily order fulfillment goals. This includes evaluating and improving processes, managing budgets related to labor, packaging, and maintenance, as well as preparing performance reports.

The role involves scheduling, training, and developing staff, as well as conducting interviews and performance evaluations. The supervisor will also collaborate with Human Resources and temporary staffing agencies to maintain optimal staffing levels.

This position requires a hands-on leader capable of balancing multiple demands, solving operational challenges, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The work environment includes both office and distribution areas, with occasional lifting of materials up to 18 kg (40 lb). Equipment operation will require specialized training in accordance with Polaris standards.
