Henkel is seeking a Specialist Supply Planner to translate mid-term production plans into executable short-term schedules, ensuring product availability while balancing capacity and inventory. You will work with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Planning, and Supply Chain teams to optimize performance and meet business priorities.

The role requires experience in supply and production planning, strong analytics, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and integrated supply chain coursework.
• Experience in supply planning, production planning or materials planning.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory, and capacity planning.
• Experience with S&OP/IBP/S&OE processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actions.
• Proficiency with SAP and planning tools; advanced Excel and BI knowledge.

About this Position

The Specialist Supply Planner is responsible for translating mid-term production plans into executable short-term production schedules, ensuring product availability while balancing capacity, inventory, and business priorities. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Planning, and Supply Chain teams to optimize production performance and support business objectives.

What you´ll do

• Convert mid-term production plans into short-term executable schedules by transforming planned orders into firm production orders.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust short-term production and scheduling plans based on capacity, material availability, and operational constraints.
• Manage stock transfers up to the first decoupling point and coordinate replenishment activities with Replenishment Planning teams.
• Monitor daily production performance against weekly production plans, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Analyze finished goods requirements and provide inventory allocation proposals aligned with business priorities.
• Support inventory management activities by reviewing inventory policies, identifying slow-moving materials, and monitoring obsolete stock.
• Maintain planning master data, including manufacturing parameters and capacity constraints, to ensure planning accuracy.
• Provide key inputs for Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, including capacity and material availability considerations.
• Collaborate with Plant Production Schedulers to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of production plans.
• Partner with Purchasing and Material Planning teams to secure raw material availability and minimize production disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency, service levels, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and capacity planning.
• Experience participating in S&OP, IBP, and/or S&OE processes.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and planning tools.
• Advanced Excel and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
