Bruegmann in Monterrey seeks a Sourcing & Procurement Lead to coordinate purchasing, supplier management, and logistics with internal teams and external vendors. You will drive procurement processes across P2P, optimize supplier performance, and ensure OTIF delivery while supporting cost reductions and continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in procurement, experience with Netsuite, and strong collaboration across program management, engineering, sales, operations, and finance.

Formación

• BA/BS in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Netsuite and Microsoft O365.
• Highly organized with strong time management.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Experience in procurement and supplier management is required (8+ years).

Responsabilidades

• Researching and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure they meet cost and quality requirements.
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Onboard and maintain procurement procedures with suppliers; ensure compliance with Bruegmann processes.
• Monitor open orders and coordinate with logistics to ensure OTIF delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Job Summary:

The Sourcing & Procurement Lead MX will be working closely with internal stakeholders (Program Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations & Finance) and suppliers to achieve optimum Sourcing Network, Purchase to Pay & Supplier Management processes are embedded and executed. The Procurement Lead will play a key role to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations through optimum network of suppliers, handling of material/services requirements and addressing requests, providing continuous updates regarding status of delivery of material and providing insights on potential improvements and innovations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing

1. 1) Researching and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure they meet the company's needs in terms of cost, quality, reliability, and other factors.
2. 2) Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
3. 3) Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and supplier capabilities to make informed sourcing decisions.
4. 1. Understanding the vendor’s company structure and key contacts helping to navigate any bureaucracy and facilitate efficient and effective communication
5. a. Onboard and maintain procurement procedures with suppliers
6. b. Accommodating each supplier’s requirements but keeping consistent procedures within the Bruegmann process to ensure our Customer Service and Business Development Reps understand their respective responsibilities and expectations.
7. 3. Establish and maintain on-going vendor performance management to anticipate and resolve potential problems (claims handling). Share reports to Strategic Sourcing Director with key development areas

Purchase to Pay

1. 1. Ensure an optimum purchase to pay processes are embedded and to a possible extent automated, including Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order/Call Offs, Inbound/Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt subprocesses.
2. a. Ensure agreements with correct terms and conditions are available in Netsuite at any given moment
3. b. Ensure Inbound/Goods receipt are timely executed and updated in Netsuite
4. c. Ensure Invoice receipt process is timely executed and address any outstanding invoice payments
5. d. Address improvement requirements with key functions/stakeholders
6. e. Address escalations/issues with suppliers, logistics service providers, customs broker
7. 2. Managing Supply Chain
8. a. Monitor Open Orders and communicating risks to internal stakeholders
9. b. Manage Logistics (road, sea, air) to optimize cost/service
10. c. Monitoring high priority requests and ensure OTIF delivery

Stakeholder Management

1. 1. Daily collaboration in ensuring customer’s requirements are met
2. 2. Communication regarding escalations of any customer orders that are delayed and resolving any issues
3. 3. Attending video teams calls with sales team / project management on open programs
4. 4. Understanding priorities to meet customer expectations
5. 5. Proactively offering solutions to improve processes
