Emerson is seeking a Sourcing Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) in Monterrey to help drive new product development and optimize sourced materials. You will work with global teams, suppliers, and Emerson professionals to contribute to design for manufacturability and robust sourcing strategies.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of PPAP/DFM/FMEA, and strong project management with advanced English.

Formación

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field with 3–5 years' experience.
• Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, DFM, and FMEA quality processes.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and MS Office skills.
• Advanced English; local Monterrey residency.

Responsabilidades

• Drive NPD projects with RFQs, supplier selection, costed BOM ownership, PPAP, and risk mitigation.
• Manage sourcing projects with global supply base, cost modeling, make/buy analysis, and CapEx.
• Communicate supply chain status and risks to project stakeholders.
• Lead supplier reviews with executive leadership.
• Partner with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability and quality/environmental standards.
• Support component sourcing and align supply chains for mechanical and electronic subassemblies.
