Dana Incorporated is seeking a Welding Operator in the Nuevo León region. You will operate manual or robotic welding stations to meet safety and quality requirements for Dana’s driveline, sealing, and thermal-management products.

You will work within ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 standards, ensuring continuous improvement, training others, and maintaining production discipline while supporting Dana’s commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Formación

  • Welding operation experience (manual or robotic).
  • Knowledge of safety standards and processes.

Responsabilidades

  • Comply with safety guidelines and standards in the work area.
  • Follow procedures outlined in work instructions.
  • Maintain scheduled work times and operational discipline.
  • Use escalation plan to address equipment or product quality issues.
  • Train and mentor other operators to improve quality and efficiency.

Job Purpose

Responsibly operate the manual or robotic welding process station to which he/she has been assigned to meet the requirements of safety and quality in the manufacture of products for our customers. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IATF‑16949:2016 standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Comply with the safety guidelines and standards established in your work area and specific measures within your operation.
  • Carry out the procedures outlined in your work instructions.
  • Permanently comply with work schedules (entrances, dining room, bathroom, work groups, exit, etc.) and maintain constant operational discipline.
  • Properly use the escalation plan to alert of problems in the equipment and/or in the quality of the products to try to avoid the stoppage of the production lines.
  • Train, advise and mentor other operators, showing them how to work according to the standardized work system, both inside and outside the production line. Always work with the vision of improving quality, efficiency and savings in your operation.
