Insulet Corporation, maker of the OmniPod, seeks a self-motivated Trainee of Software Development to join the SW Mobile & COEFLSA team. The role focuses on ensuring that software for on-market products is effectively verified and validated before release, with lifecycle work spanning requirements to deployment.

You will learn departmental processes, assist in process improvements, create and maintain documentation, perform data analysis, and help with root cause investigations of software

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably in final semesters or within 6 months of graduation
• Demonstration of an accomplished software project is a big plus, may be in school or as a hobby

• Assist team in identifying and/or creating new processes and/or program improvements
• Create, support, and maintain documentation needs
• Perform data entry and/or analysis; assist in problem solving activities
• Use of tools, techniques, databases and/or systems related to areas of assignment
• Investigating root cause analysis, fixing software issues.
• Performs other duties as required

Position Overview

Insulet Corporation, maker of the OmniPod, is the leader in tubeless insulin pump. Insulet is looking for a self‑motivated Trainee of Software Development to be a part of the development effort related to product development and product modifications. The position is responsible for ensuring that software for on‑market products has been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to its release and that these designs effectively meet their requirements. Software engineering efforts are lifecycle oriented, beginning during product requirements development and continuing throughout its lifetime. This position will also assist with the implementation of software development tools to improve the overall quality of software, including peer reviews, software hazard analysis, requirements traceability, software code analysis/code coverage, defect tracking, software metrics, configuration management, software supplier quality, and software tool validations.

Education and Experience
