Johnson Controls is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, implement, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for software applications and systems. The role emphasizes automated testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and participation in Agile ceremonies to ensure quality and performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or information technology, 3-5 years of software testing experience, and proficiency in Java, Python or C#.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications and systems.
• Design and develop automated test scripts using various testing frameworks.
• Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing on software and systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and enhance system functionality.
• Document test results, track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
