Job summary

Satyam Venture Engineering Services in Mexico City seeks an experienced Software QA/Test Engineer to join the automotive software quality team. You will design and execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring robust test coverage for complex vehicle features.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong coding skills for test scripts, and collaboration with development teams to validate fixes and verify end-to-end workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end verification test plans for features using manual and automated testing.
• Review requirements and vehicle architecture to design comprehensive L3 test cases.
• Develop automated test cases using the provided framework and programming languages.
• Implement tests following defined test design rules and methods.
• Design and maintain Test Plans & Test Cases (Manual & Automated).
• Execute test cycles, log results, and prepare defect reports.
• Analyze results and collaborate with development & feature teams for coverage.

Job description

• Bachelor/ Engineering in Computer Systems, IT, Electronics or similar
• Able to work onsite Monday to Friday in Tecnoparque CDMX
• Advance English (C1)
• 3-5 years of experience in hands-on test role responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality of automotive software features. This role requires strong technical skills to write reliable, maintainable, and scalable test cases and test code, analyze results, and collaborate closely with development & feature teams to ensure adequate L3 test coverage
• Define and implement the end-to-end verification test plans for assigned features, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Review feature requirements and vehicle architecture documentation to design comprehensive L3 test cases.
• Develop and implement automated test cases as robust, reliable, and maintainable code using the provided automation framework and relevant programming languages.
• Implement test cases following defined test design rules and appropriate test design methods.
