Valeo invites engineers to join the R&D team at its San Luis Potosi site to work on On-Board Chargers and High Voltage Inverters. You'll understand system design (Hardware/Software), flash software, read failure codes, and support product launches across Europe and the US.

Candidates should have an engineering degree in Electronics, with embedded systems and diagnostics knowledge. Join Valeo and contribute to the electrification of vehicles, collaborating with global teams and advancing

Formación

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics or Informatics with software experience.
• Experience in automotive software development for electrification is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers and diagnostics.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the system design (hardware/software) of On-Board Chargers and Inverters.
• Understand application software modules and be able to flash software and change parameters.
• Read out failure codes and support failure analysis and testing.
• Collaborate with Europe and US development centers and transfer knowledge to San Luis Potosi.
• Contribute to future automotive engineering and product launches for EVs.

In the R&D team, you will be in charge of integrating and applying the software on our On-Board-Chargers and High Voltage Inverters.

Your profile Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Informatics, etc. and first professional experience in software development ideal wise in vehicle electrification at an OEM or Tier 1 Good knowledge in Embedded systems concepts and Microcontrollers Experience of software development and implementation methods and tools, including V-cycle activities Good understanding of Diagnostics (UDS,OBD,XCP,...) Knowledge in communication protocols CAN, CAN-FD, LIN,.. etc. Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging experience required, including hands-on experience in (Lauterbach, UDE, I-system,...) is a plus Solution-oriented with an ability to work in a demanding environment and with the design centres in Europe and the US. Therefore good english skills are and advantage Excellent team spirit, able to take initiative and motivated to learn fast.
