Valeo Systemas Electricas in San Luis Potosi is recruiting an R&D Engineer to understand and test hardware designs for On-Board-Chargers and High Voltage Inverters. The role requires coordinating with design teams in Europe and the US and contributing to technology topics and design rule implementations.

The ideal candidate has an electronics engineering background and experience in power electronics testing and PCB/PCBA considerations, with a strong team orientation and willingness to learn

Formación

• Engineering degree in Electronics or related field.
• Experience in layout for power electronics is an advantage.
• Experience in testing and analysis of power electronics is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the electronic design of our power electronic products.
• Perform failure analysis on hardware benches.
• Collaborate with design teams in Europe and the US; implement knowledge in San Luis Potosi.
• Develop technologies topics (FR4 definition, stack up, soldering issues, coating).
• Implement design rules related to the technologies topics studied.
• Support product launches of innovative EV technology and shape automotive engineering.

In the R&D team, you will be in charge of understanding and testing the hardware design and its functional blocks for On-Board-Chargers and High Voltage Inverters.

Your challenges :

• Understand the electronic design of our power electronic products.
• Be in charge of the failure analysis on our hardware benches
• Cooperate with the design teams in Europe and the US and implement the knowledge in San Luis Potosi
• Participate in development of technologies topics (FR4 definition, stack up, soldering issues, coating .. )
• Implement design rules related to the technologies topics studied
• Shape the future of automotive engineering and support the product launch of innovative technology for electric vehicles

Your profile

• Solution-oriented with an ability to work in a demanding environment and with the design centres in Europe and the US. Therefore good english skills are and advantage
• Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Informatics, etc.
• First experience in layout for Power Electronics, knowledge about PCB and PCBA technologies is an advantage
• Experience in the testing and analysis of power electronics is an advantage
• Excellent team spirit, able to take initiative and motivated to learn fast
