Overview

On the Xbox Experiences and Platforms Commerce team, we aim to empower game creators to reach and engage players to successfully monetize their games, everywhere. We aim to help creators grow their audience through re-imagined seller tools and delightful end-user game discovery, purchase, and engagement store experiences, increase monetization across existing and new business models, and accelerate creator’s abilities to optimize strategies and enhance players connections via advanced data and AI capabilities. Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience as a Front-End Engineer developing modern applications using React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and state management in frontend applications.
• Experience integrating cloud services and working with deployment pipelines (Azure preferred).
• A solid interest in delivering compelling end-user experiences for a gaming audience, with an understanding of their unique needs.

• Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Experience shipping cross-platform applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Technical knowledge of challenges specific to the gaming space, including:
• Responsive UX design across various device form factors.
• Navigational input methods such as gamepad, touch, and mouse/keyboard.
