Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Monterrey seeks an embedded software engineer to design and implement model-based applications using Matlab/Simulink and TargetLink, and to generate code with Embedded C. The role includes MIL/SIL testing and ASPICE-driven traceability with JAMA, plus collaboration with cross-functional teams using Git and Jira.

Familiarity with AUTOSAR and CAPL scripting is a plus, and a BMS background is desirable.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering required.
• Meets minimum ASPICE and system-level development expectations.
• Non-engineering backgrounds are not eligible.
• Experience with model-based design and code generation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink model-based applications.
• Perform code generation using Embedded C and TargetLink.
• Conduct MIL/SIL testing; familiarity with Tessy is a plus.
• Establish requirement analysis and traceability per ASPICE using JAMA.
• Support version control with Git and project tracking with Jira.
• Develop C-based software for unit testing of application functions.
• Review Software Requirement Specifications and ensure compliance.
• Familiarity with V-Model and AUTOSAR is advantageous.
• Knowledge of diagnostics and CAPL scripting is beneficial.
• Nice to have BMS background.

Job description

• Detailed design and creation of Matlab/Simulink/Targetlink model-based applications.
• Perform code generation using Embedded coder/Targetlink.
• MIL/SIL testing. Good to have experience with Tessy for SIL testing.
• Requirement analysis and traceability establishment as per ASPICE with JAMA software.
• Familiar with the use of git and Jira.
• Develop C based software for unit testing of application software functions and components.
• Support creation and review of Software Requirement Specifications.
• Preferred Automotive experience and nice to have BMS background.
• Embedded C coding/debugging is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with Software V-Model, Good to have AUTOSAR experience.
• Familiar with ASPICE process
• Good to know CAPL scripting and HIL testing
• Good to have Diagnostics knowledge.

Qualification:

• BE/ BTECH/M.E/M.Tech
• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (Non-Engineering background not eligible).
