Allegion is seeking a Software Developer - Product Configuration to design, build, support, and enhance its product configurator platforms (Experlogix and V6) and their ERP integrations. This hands-on role collaborates with business users, modelers, IT teams, and vendors to translate requirements into reliable solutions and resolve production issues.

You will develop features, APIs, and UI, write C#/.NET code, query MS SQL, and contribute to CI/CD and deployment in a remote Mexico-based team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related STEM field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years designing, supporting, or implementing enterprise apps, CPQ/configurator or ERP integrations.
• Hands-on development in .Net, C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience designing and building SOAP or RESTful APIs and consuming web services.
• Proficient with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL (T-SQL, data flows).
• Familiar with cloud concepts and Azure services.
• Strong problem-solving, log and code analysis to determine root causes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 or other ERP integration patterns.
• Experience with PowerShell or scripting for automation.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain features and integrations for Experlogix and V6 configurators.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs to connect configurators with ERP and in-house systems.
• Implement HTML/JavaScript UI pieces for configuration workflows.
• Write C#/.NET backend services and integration components.
• Use MS SQL Server / Azure SQL to query data and troubleshoot configuration issues.
• Leverage basic cloud services (Azure) for hosting, integration, or scaling.
• Support operational health: monitor logs, triage incidents, and coordinate remediation.
• Work with vendors to report defects, validate fixes, test patches, and deploy solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and maintain design documents.
• Participate in release activities and follow SDLC/CI-CD with Azure DevOps.

Summary

We are seeking a Software Developer - Product Configuration to design, build, support, and enhance our product configurator platforms (Experlogix and V6) and their integrations with ERP and other enterprise systems. This hands-on technical role blends application development, integration work, and operational support. The developer will work closely with business users, product modelers, other IT teams, and vendors to translate requirements into reliable solutions, diagnose and resolve production issues, and deliver configuration and integration improvements.

• Strong administrative and organization skills with attention to detail and sense of urgency

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom features, scripts, and integrations for Experlogix and V6 product configuration platforms.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs and other web services to integrate configurators with ERPs and in-house systems.
• Implement HTML/JavaScript-based UI pieces or client-side customizations as required by product configuration workflows.
• Write C#/.NET code for back-end services, extensions, and integration components.
• Use SQL (MS SQL Server / Azure SQL) to author queries, stored procedures, and troubleshoot data issues related to configuration and integrations.
• Leverage basic cloud services and patterns (Azure preferred) for hosting, integration, automation, or scaling (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Support operational health: monitor logs, triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation across teams and vendors.
• Work with vendors to report defects, validate vendor fixes, test patches in non-production environments, and deploy solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement configuration or code changes; create and maintain technical design documents and runbooks.
• Participate in release activities, coordinate with infrastructure/DBA/security teams, and follow SDLC and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, deployment automation, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience), required.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing, supporting, or implementing enterprise applications, CPQ/configurator solutions, or ERP integrations.
• Hands-on development experience in .Net, C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience designing and building SOAP or RESTful APIs and consuming web services.
• Demonstrable proficiency with MS SQL Server / Azure SQL (writing T-SQL, troubleshooting data flows).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts and experience with Azure services or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to dig into logs and code to determine root causes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (AX/365) or other ERP systems and integration patterns (OData, DMF, SOAP), plus.
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation and operational tasks.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
