This role supports 24x7 monitoring and response operations, using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection tools to distinguish between benign activity and threats, ensuring triage and containment actions.

The specialist performs initial investigations, reviews vulnerability findings, and assists with remediation verification to strengthen client environments.

Formación

• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge including CIA; defense-in-depth strategies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and OSI model for anomaly detection.
• Proficiency with SOC monitoring tools (SIEM/EDR/IDS/IPS).
• Ability to apply detection methodologies and improve rules.
• Experience with incident triage and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support 24x7 monitoring and response in the SOC.
• Conduct initial investigations and review vulnerability findings.
• Assist remediation verification and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to improve SOC workflows and alert fidelity.
