AMETEK Inc. in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks an SMT Operator/Repair to run pick-and-place, solder paste inspection, solder printer, and reflow ovens, and to rework SMT/Through-Hole defects on boards.

You will maintain equipment, adhere to process controls, and support quality through IPC-610 Class 3 standards. The role requires 3+ years of board rework experience, knowledge of Juki/Dek/Vitronic equipment, ESD handling, and IPC 7711/7721 certification.

Formación

• Degree as electronic technician or related field.
• 3+ years or more experience on electronic boards rework.
• Knowledge of SMT and TH components, identify orientation of polarized components.
• Knowledge of Juki placement machines, Dek printer, Vitronic Reflow Oven operation.
• Knowledge of Moisture Sensitive Devices handling.
• Knowledge of ESD to components.
• IPC-610 Criteria Class 3.
• BGA rework process knowledge.
• IPC 7711/7721 certified.

Responsabilidades

• Rework any SMT or Through-Hole defect on electronic boards.
• Maintain SMT equipment and tools in optimal condition.
• Operate SMT equipment and follow SMT process controls.

The SMT Operator / Repair will operate the SMT equipment: Pick and Place machines, solder paste inspection machine, solder printer machine and Reflow Ovens plus rework any defect from SMT or Though Hole.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reworking any SMT defect or Through hole defect on the electronic board.
• Responsible for having all the equipment / tool rework in optimal conditions.
• Responsible for the SMT equipment operation.
• Responsible for following the SMT process controls.

Requirements:

• Degree as electronic technician or related field.
• 3 years or more experience on electronic boards rework.
• Knowledge of the SMT and TH components, identify the orientation of the polarized components.
• Knowledge of the Juki placement machines, Dek printer machine and Vitronic Reflow Oven Operation.
• Knowledge of the Moisture Sensitive Devices Handling
• Knowledge of the ESD to the components (Electrostatic Discharge)
• knowledge on the IPC-610 Criteria Class 3
• Knowledge on the BGA rework process.
• IPC 7711 / 7721 certified.
