A leading logistics company in Mexico City is seeking a Facilities Manager to support strategic projects and ensure compliance with FM standards. This role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in facilities management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to build relationships across teams. This position offers flexibility and competitive compensation.

Formación

  • 3+ years of relevant FM experience or 3 years as supervisor/coordinator.
  • Knowledge of conveyors, PTL, MHE.

Job Purpose:

Technical, systemic and corporate strategic management of facilities, utilities and equipment included in a contractual matrix under DHL responsibility, as well as support and action in infrastructure adequacy according to alignment with the operational manager of each unit with a focus on processes standardization, accomplishment of KPI’s, continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Your tasks:
  • Supports Senior Facility Manager in delivering strategical projects and FM services.
  • Supports the facilities teams and operations managers spread in different sites and locations.
  • FM Services vendors working in collaboration with procurement and operations.
  • Track and reports on staffing/third parties/contractors through KPI’s, SLA’s
  • Tracks the implementation of technical guidelines
  • Inspects sites for Quality, Safety, and Environment (FM Assessment)
  • Implements technological innovations
  • Standardizes and improves the process continuously
  • Implement projects seeking for cost optimization (service & utilities)
  • Ensures the procedures are following the global FM standards.
Stakeholders
  • Work with FM departments and various business unit management.
  • Connect with and influencer other specialist departments and third parties e.g. external service providers.
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customer and key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance to senior management, line manager and employees.
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL Managers
  • Ensures policies and practices related to job area are followed
  • Uses network of contacts established by Facility manager to strengthen the organizational
  • Addresses task related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
Your profile:
Education Level
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Electro - Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Or Industrial, or similar Carers
  • Conveyors, PTL, MHE, knowledge
  • HVAC specialization is a differentiator.
  • Language: Intermediated English, oral and Writing.
Experience Level
  • 3 years or more of relevant FM experience or 3 as supervisor/coordinator of other management areas
