Job summary

Magna International Inc. is seeking a Simulation Engineer in Mexico to develop static and dynamic models for automotive production environments.

You will analyze processes, estimate resource requirements, and apply DOE, OEE concepts, and data analytics to improve throughput and efficiency. You will collaborate with manufacturing teams, leverage SIMIO and SIEMENS tools, and contribute to layout and process optimization across Magna production plants, while maintaining quality and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Fluent English (speaking/writing/reading).

Responsibilities

• Build static and dynamic simulation models to increase throughput and optimize resources.
• Perform production and material management analysis to improve efficiency.
• Apply Discrete-Event/Agent-Based simulation techniques in automotive settings.
• Develop projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, validate and analyze process data for cost-benefit decisions.
