Job summary

AgileEngine is building a strong Shopify practice and seeking a seasoned leader to guide executives and development teams. You will shape the Shopify strategy, architect end-to-end stores, mentor engineers, and partner with sales on pre-sales efforts.

This remote-first role offers exposure to Fortune 500 brands and high-growth startups. You will drive technical roadmaps, oversee implementations, and ensure performance, SEO, and CRO best practices while staying current with Shopify updates and

Qualifications

5+ years in e-commerce with Shopify experience.
Proven track record delivering large-scale Shopify projects.
Experience leading dev teams and mentoring developers.
Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
Strong communication and remote collaboration skills.
Fluency in English.
Spanish or Portuguese fluency is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and oversee Shopify stores, applications, and custom integrations end-to-end.
Drive scalable and secure solutions, establish coding standards, and create proofs of concept.
Lead small-scale or prototype engagements, establish best practices, scope work, and mentor developers.
Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, translate goals into prioritized roadmaps.
Provide strategic guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, SEO, and performance.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align technology with business goals.
