Intuitive is seeking a Shipping Clerk 1 to manage FG from production, verify and move items, and prepare wraps for shipment. You will enter data in the ERP system and support daily shipments.

This role requires forklift operation certification, a high school diploma, and 1+ year warehouse experience. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP (prefer SAP) is expected. Occupational safety and 5S standards apply.

• Extensive walking and repetitive movements (75%+ of hours).
• Self-starter with minimal direction and accuracy in work.
• MS Office and ERP systems experience, preferably SAP; Agile knowledge.
• Maintain forklift operator certification.

Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The shipping clerk 1 is responsible of handle FG released from production areas, physical verification, movement and wrapping preparation. Shipping clerk duties include data entry of FG, support on shipments of FG, activities for supply production lines of gaylords/totes and preparation of scrap material for shipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identification tours in the defined production areas for recollection, transfer and wrapping preparation of FG that has been release by quality.
• Visual inspection of FG released.
• Handle, verify, move, and transact materials in the ERP system. SAP WM-IM system.
• Follows specified instructions to comply supply chain security policies.
• Identify and communicate issues that disrupt material movement.
• Maintain shipping areas safety and housekeeping in accordance with 5s principles.
• Operates material handling (forklift and pallet jack) equipment per safety policy.
• Comply with employee training requirements record.
• Comply with material management policies and procedures
• Gaylord and totes preparation and supply to production area.
• Scrap preparation for shipment.
• Fulfill employee training record requirements/updates per supervisor direction.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

• High school degree
• Posses prior warehouse (+1 year) or material handling experience in manufacturing environment including.
• Prior experience and/or certification in operation material handling equipment
• Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently each day
• Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting bending lifting) is required (at least 70% of hours worked)
• Self-starter and works with minimal direction, able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments,
• Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems) preferably SAP and Agile
• Maintain status as certified forklift operator (training and certification process provided by ISI)
• Familiarity knowledge of supply chain security policies as CTPAT or similar.
