Job Specifics
  • This role is fully onsite and requires flexibility to work and rotate shifts: weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts, and Ability to work overtime both in peak season and as needed.
  • This role can be hired for any of the following locations: Queretaro.
Key job responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
  • Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity remain consistently high, and business objectives are met across all shifts.
  • Support and lead a team and handle administrative work while building a strong team culture.
  • Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
  • Promote best practice and continuous process improvements across your team in areas such as health and safety and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
A day in the life

You’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You’ll also monitor and maintain process efficiency.

Your days will always include prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks, along with individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide‑scale operational contingency planning.

Being a key part of the operations team involves working with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we stay on track to meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, and discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third‑party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of full‑time Amazon experience.
  • 4+ years of direct management experience.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, or bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing.
  • Experience previously in program or project management.
  • Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives/projects, or experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation or related.
  • Logistics background from operations environment, preferably from first‑middle mile ops.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1+).
