A global manufacturing leader in Querétaro seeks an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor the HSE team, innovate training methods, and develop policies to enhance safety standards. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with relevant leadership and industry experience. Proficiency in professional-level English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development

• Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions

• Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences

• Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards

• Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization

• Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards

• Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials

• Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
Specified Years of Industry-relevant experience
Specified Years of Relevant Leadership experience
Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
Professional-Level English language skills preferred
