UPS is seeking a Seasonal Import/Export Classification Specialist to apply import/export regulations for product classification and eligibility for regulatory programs in international trade. The role acts as a liaison between UPS and government entities to resolve issues related to customs declarations and tax payments.

Responsibilities include substantiating classification decisions, coordinating country of origin verification projects, and maintaining product databases in Excel and Access.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred.
• International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred.
• Previous experience with classification and/or FTA determination - Preferred.

• Communicates proactively with customers including educating customers on regulatory procedures
