Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Strategist, Veterinary to own search for veterinary clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative. You will be the strategic voice, making key calls at the table.

Responsibilities include technical SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization with writers/AI, and reporting in GA4 and Search Console. Remote role with emphasis on multi-location veterinary clients and AI-enabled search strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO; audits and fixes performed personally.
• Fluent in English with US clients on live calls.
• Experience in agency environments with multiple clients.
• SEO for veterinary or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical SEO: crawl, index, site speed, schema, architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers/AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional results.
• Manage local & multi-location SEO for clients.
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Strategist, Veterinary you own search for a book of veterinary clients (veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for veterinary or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
