Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to own search for a portfolio of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will shape the technical roadmap, set content priorities, and drive the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You are the strategic voice at the table and make the calls. You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content priorities, coordinating with writers and AI to produce drafts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on SEO, with audits and fixes.
• Proficient in Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients concurrently.
• Fluent English for live calls with US-based clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Build links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console; develop quarterly roadmaps for clients.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
