Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Strategist for HVAC clients. You’ll own the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved, acting as the strategic voice at the table.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, and content coordination with writers and AI, while reporting in GA4 and Search Console for multi-location campaigns across the US, Canada and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for HVAC or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

As SEO Strategist, HVAC you own search for a book of HVAC clients (multi-location HVAC and home service groups): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.
