Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Manager for urgent care clients with multi-location sites. You will own the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved the needle. You will be the strategic voice and make the calls.

You’ll handle technical SEO, keyword strategy, content priorities, and AI-assisted drafting with writers. Strong English, agency experience, and experience with multi-location SEO are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO, with audits and fixes performed personally.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multi-location businesses (e.g., urgent care) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Deliver reporting in GA4 and Search Console; craft quarterly client roadmaps.

As SEO Manager, Urgent Care you own search for a book of urgent care clients (urgent care groups running many sites): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
