Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO and AEO Strategist to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will manage technical roadmaps, content priorities, and the ranking story during client inquiries. You are the strategic voice at the table, making the calls.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, AI-enabled search strategies, local multi-location SEO, and performance reporting. Fluency in English with US clients on live calls is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Proficiency in Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients simultaneously.
• Fluent English for live calls with US clients.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
