Speechify seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, and C#. You will drive architecture, performance, and accessibility across the Windows platform, collaborating with product designers, QA, and engineers to deliver reliable, polished software.

You will mentor peers, define long-term technical direction, and own features end-to-end in a distributed, office-less company that values user-centered design and high-impact results.

Formación

• 3+ years in Windows desktop app development with Windows App SDK/WinUI and C#.
• Experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Windows architecture and interop between .NET and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with reliability and performance.
• Experience with accessibility APIs and inclusive UI for users with disabilities.
• Solid fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, data structures, and memory management.
• Experience leading design discussions, code reviews, and guiding teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop apps.
• Define best practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts and ensure keyboard navigation and screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, QA, and engineers to shape roadmap.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks.
