Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a skilled video editor to join our client, a performance marketing agency focused on higher education. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists.

You’ll align visuals with marketing goals, ensure platform-optimized formats for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more, manage assets, stay current with trends, and deliver final assets on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in agency/media/marketing settings.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills; experience working with US-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.

• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
