Tekton Labs is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead strategic design initiatives in a fast-paced consulting environment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing product thinking and user journeys.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentorship of junior designers are key responsibilities. Proficiency in English and Spanish, along with mastery of Figma, are essential for this role.

At Tekton, we design and engineer digital products that transform businesses across Latin America. We operate in a fast-paced, multi-client consulting environment spanning retail, fintech, banking, and highly regulated industries.

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who is much more than a visual executor. We need a strategic consultant who thrives in ambiguity, uncovers hidden frictions through system blueprints, and connects every design decision directly to business value and core metrics. If you are passionate about owning the product lifecycle from deep discovery to handoff, this challenge is for you.

Product Design & Strategic Discovery

• Brief Questioning & Ideation: Gather and challenge product briefs when clients propose solutions before deeply understanding the root problem. Translate abstract needs into clean user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Systems & Components: Build and scale cohesive Design Systems, ensuring atomic components are reusable, well-documented, and perfectly aligned with engineering feasibility.
• Tech & Business Translation: Collaborate tightly with Product Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to balance user needs with technical constraints and ROI.
• AI Obsession: Actively explore, test, and adopt emerging AI tools (such as Claude, Midjourney, Galileo, or specialized UI/UX automation plug-ins) to accelerate brainstorming, wireframing, and documentation.
• Consultative AI Advisory: Serve as an internal subject matter expert, keeping an updated catalog of evaluated solutions and advising clients on how to integrate AI into their own user experience workflows to multiply productivity.
• Mentorship & Governance: Review design solutions for consistency, mentor junior/mid designers, and ensure design handoffs to development are flawless and completely clear.

Must-Have (Essential)

• Experience: +5 years of proven experience designing digital products (Web, Mobile, SaaS) in multi-client consulting environments or software factories.
• Portfolio: A rock-solid portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, complex user journeys, system blueprints, and business impact (not just aesthetic screens).
• Tools & Frameworks: Mastery of Figma (advanced components, auto-layout, variables) and deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Soft Skills: High tolerance for ambiguity, exceptional executive communication to present before C-Level stakeholders, and a data-driven mindset.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have (Plus)

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS to better communicate with developers.
• Experience in Fintech, Banking, or complex legacy system modernizations.
