Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Staff Engineer, Thermal Systems Engineering to design, analyze, and optimize data center cooling systems with an emphasis on advanced applied water-cooled chiller solutions. You will provide critical technical support throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve exceptional system performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 8+ years of HVAC experience in performance modeling, design and testing of chiller or commercial refrigeration systems.
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of HVAC experience focusing on performance modeling, design and testing of chiller or commercial refrigeration systems.
• PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of HVAC experience focusing on performance modeling, design and testing of chiller or commercial refrigeration systems.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting in selection, evaluation, and specification of applied water-cooled chiller systems for data centers.
• Collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure thermal system compatibility and effective communication across stakeholders.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals related to applied chiller systems and providing technical support across project phases.
• Identifying and helping resolve technical issues impacting thermal performance, reliability, and sustainability.
• Working with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Participating in initiatives that drive innovation and continuous improvement in data center thermal management.
