Job summary

SSOE Group in Mexico seeks a senior designer to contribute to engineering design packages for industrial facilities across automotive, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. You will work under a project engineer, applying standard design techniques and coordinating with other disciplines.

You’ll use AutoCAD and Revit daily, advance in modeling, drawings, and cost estimates, while engaging with teams across Mexico, the US, and India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering or related major.
• 10+ years as designer using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience supporting large industrial design projects (manufacturing / automotive).
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency, drawing standards and templates.

Responsibilities

• Applies standard design techniques and minor adaptations to design concepts.
• Directs designers on the same project and checks portions of drawings.
• Prepares addendums, bulletins, and change orders for submittal.
• Attends construction meetings and produces site observation reports.
• Writes portions of specifications and supports design and cost estimates.
