Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Sr. Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies for key commodities, drive cost optimization, and build strong supplier relationships that support operations and new product development across the organization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions, manage supplier performance, and advance value creation with data-driven decision making.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in Supply Chain, Procurement or Strategic Sourcing in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading Category or Commodity Management strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, SRM, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead complex sourcing initiatives in a global organization.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and executing category and commodity strategies aligned with business objectives and manufacturing priorities.
• Leading strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management to deliver cost savings and long-term value.
• Building and managing strategic supplier relationships to improve quality, delivery, innovation, and overall supplier performance.
• Partnering with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and New Product Development teams to support sourcing decisions and business growth.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives, supplier risk mitigation, and cost optimization through data-driven decision making.
