MuchoRed is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Monterrey. You will execute full-cycle accounting, maintain accurate records, and support month-end close under the Finance Manager's guidance.

The role requires hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills. English proficiency is required, and experience with QuickBooks Online will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank and GL maintenance, and month-end close.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accounting adjustments, and maintain the General Ledger.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Execute month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain supporting documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.
• Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist with process improvements and other accounting-related projects.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for executing full-cycle accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.


• Prepare journal entries, accounting adjustments, and maintain the General Ledger.


• Perform bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.


• Execute month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.


• Prepare financial reports and maintain supporting documentation.


• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and accounting transactions.

• Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
