Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability and scalability for applications, services, and platforms supporting the AI Data and User Experience program.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
• Support services before they go live through system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolving systems to improve reliability and velocity.
• Support the CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating.
• Lead DevOps automation and best practices across the organization.
• Practice blameless post-mortems and incident response.
• Holistically connect dots across the tech stack to reduce MTTR during production events.
• Collaborate with a global team across geographies and time zones.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior resources.
