Maersk is seeking an experienced Senior DBA to shape, automate, and support SQL Server environments on-premise and in the cloud. You will lead migrations, implement IaC, and build data pipelines.

You will work with DevOps and Cloud teams, implement monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, ensure security and DR strategies, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. This fully onsite role offers a collaborative, global logistics environment.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience administering SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Proficient with Grafana and Prometheus for metrics and alerts.
• Hands-on managing migrations to Azure and AWS.
• Extensive ETL/orchestration with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Strong backup/recovery, HA setups, and performance tuning.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and T-SQL; able to automate DBA tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and cross-team communication.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, implement, and manage SQL Server platforms (2008+), incl. AGs and DR strategies.
• Plan migrations to Azure and AWS with minimal downtime.
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.
• Monitor performance with Prometheus and Grafana; build dashboards and alerts.
• Design ETL pipelines using SSIS, ADF, Kafka, or Airflow.
• Automate backups, patching, health checks, and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Engineering to integrate DB provisioning into CI/CD.
• Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability.
