Bluelight is seeking a skilled software engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Mérida. This role offers the opportunity to develop high-quality applications, own end-to-end features, and thrive in a collaborative environment where ideas and hard work are valued.

You will focus on backend development with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django), deliver frontend work using ReactJS, and leverage PostgreSQL for robust data access and analytics.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend Python experience with Flask, FastAPI or Django.
• Strong frontend experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS.
• Extensive data-access experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and data modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack solutions for complex financial reporting and data visualization.
• Refactor and optimize software using Agile methodologies to improve maintainability and speed.
• Collaborate with product managers and data engineering to extract, parse, and serve large-scale analytics.

Technical Qualifications

• Backend: 5+ years of experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django) and building complex, service-oriented server logic.
• Frontend: Modern JavaScript/TypeScript development utilizing ReactJS for scalable interactive web applications.
• Data Access: Heavy experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), data storage systems, and advanced data-access models.

Core Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Ownership: Architect, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack software solutions to fulfill complex financial reporting and data visualization needs.
• Optimization: Refactor existing software continuously using Agile methodologies to improve overall maintainability and speed.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data engineering teams to safely extract, parse, and serve multi-billion-dollar private asset analytics.
