Job summary

Solvo Global Inc. in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain mission-critical software solutions in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will own features end-to-end, use .NET/C# and PostgreSQL, write automated tests, diagnose production issues, and mentor junior engineers. After a 1–2 week onsite onboarding, the role moves to remote with occasional office access as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with .NET/C#.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and performance optimization.
• Experience building scalable systems.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience owning and supporting production systems.
• Daily use of AI development tools for software engineering and validating AI outputs.
• Experience participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Ability to mentor engineers.
• Strong written and spoken English for distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features and services using .NET/C#, backed by PostgreSQL.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable software solutions.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, tracing problems across the stack.
• Take ownership of production systems, including debugging and incident resolution.
• Use AI development tools daily for code generation, review, testing, and debugging, and validate AI outputs before deployment.
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote responsible AI usage in development.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
