AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to define an agentic-first approach to software development. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration, turning experiments into production systems with strong security and auditability for enterprise customers.

You will mentor engineers, build complete products, improve productivity, and collaborate with leadership to connect agentic capabilities to meaningful outcomes.

Formación

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in JavaScript and React.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on with AI agents, LLM tooling, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ability to guide agents with clear context, constraints, architecture, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong code review, testing, security, and reliability mindset.
• Ability to decompose complex work into agent-ready tasks while preserving product intent.
• Experience building workflows where agents can reason, call APIs, manage state, recover from failures, and involve humans when needed.
• Senior-level experience building and operating production software systems.
• Experience with agents to support coding, code review, testing, release management, or incident response.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context management, memory, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operations workflows.
• Establish standards for evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale successful experiments to production.
• Build complete, usable products, not just demos or isolated model integrations.
• Identify opportunities to boost engineering productivity and product delivery.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to connect capabilities to outcomes.
• Design applications around real user needs with intuitive experiences, reliable workflows, permissions, audit trails, and error handling.
• Move agentic solutions from prototype to production addressing performance, scalability, security, monitoring, cost, and maintenance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a

Senior Software Engineer to help define an agentic-first approach to software development. This person designs agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns, turning successful experiments into production systems. Strong judgment around security, reliability, and auditability matters for enterprise customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

MUST HAVES

  5+ years of experience in a software product development environment .

• - Demonstrated ability to use AI coding agents as productive engineering collaborators across an application codebase.
• - Ability to provide agents with clear context, constraints, architecture, acceptance criteria, and technical direction.
• - Strong judgment in reviewing, testing, securing, and improving agent-generated code rather than accepting outputs without verification.
• - Ability to decompose complex application work into agent-ready tasks while maintaining architectural consistency and product intent.
• - Experience creating workflows in which agents can reason, select tools, call APIs, manage state, recover from failures, and merge to people when appropriate.
• - Senior-level experience building and operating production software systems.
• - Experience using agents to support coding, code review, testing, release management, or incident response.
