• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on development/support with .NET (C#) applications/services.
• 5+ years building or supporting enterprise integrations using Boomi and/or Talend.
• Proven experience owning production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong documentation discipline, including technical specs, runbooks, and API/interface contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and support of custom applications and services built on .NET (C#), including APIs and background services.
• Own technical delivery for enterprise integrations using Boomi and Talend, including interfaces, transformations, orchestration, monitoring, and production support.
• Provide senior-level escalation support for complex production incidents and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Define and maintain integration contracts, data mappings, validation rules, and error handling standards for end-to-end support.
• Establish and improve operational practices for integrations and custom apps (monitoring, runbooks, deployment, incident response).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical designs and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Ensure adherence to security, auditability, and compliance standards for data handling across systems.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge transfer to raise engineering quality.
• Support eCommerce and WordPress components by troubleshooting production issues, improving performance, and maintaining stability.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure traceability from requirements to implementation and support.
• Contribute to SDLC/ALM practices, including source control, branching, build/release coordination, testing discipline, and deployment readiness.
• Proactively identify improvements to reduce technical debt and increase resilience across the ecosystem.

The Senior Software Engineer – Custom Applications & Integrations is responsible for designing, engineering, and supporting enterprise-grade solutions across a portfolio of business-critical systems. This role leads development and escalation support for custom customer applications built on .NET, enterprise integrations delivered through Boomi and Talend, and supporting web platforms using WordPress. The senior engineer owns complex problem resolution end-to-end, drives technical design and implementation quality, and influences standards for reliability, security, and maintainability across applications and integrations. This role requires the ability to execute against ambiguous requirements, prioritize competing demands, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while delivering stable, long-term solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead the design, development, and support of custom applications and services built on .NET (C#), including APIs and background services, ensuring secure coding practices, maintainable architecture, and operational reliability.
• Own technical delivery for enterprise integrations using Boomi and Talend, including interface design, transformations, orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, error handling, and production support.
• Provide senior-level escalation support for complex production incidents spanning applications and integrations; perform root-cause analysis and implement durable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Define and maintain integration contracts (interfaces, data mappings, validation rules, error handling standards), and ensure end-to-end supportability of all integration pathways.
• Establish and improve operational practices for integrations and custom apps, including monitoring/alerting, runbooks, deployment procedures, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and analysts to clarify requirements and translate them into technical designs, implementation plans, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Ensure solutions adhere to internal governance standards for security, auditability, and compliance, including appropriate handling of sensitive customer and transactional data.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer; raise overall engineering quality and consistency without direct people management.
• Support eCommerce site as needed by troubleshooting production issues, improving performance and security posture, and maintaining stability of critical site components and integrations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation (designs, runbooks, integration mappings, API contracts, and release notes) and ensure traceability from requirements through implementation and support.
• Participate in SDLC/ALM practices including source control, branching strategy, build/release coordination, testing discipline, and deployment readiness across application and integration components.
• Proactively identify and implement improvements that reduce technical debt, increase resilience, and improve performance across the applications and integration ecosystem.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Senior-level experience building and supporting .NET (C#) applications/services, including API design, maintainable architecture, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong experience designing and operating enterprise integrations using Boomi and/or Talend, including complex transformations, orchestration patterns, scheduling, monitoring, and support processes.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and disciplines (API-based integration, batch/file exchange, reliable error handling, retry/compensation approaches, and operational observability).
• Strong understanding of relational data concepts and ability to read/interpret SQL to troubleshoot data issues, validate transformations, and resolve integration failures.
• Proven ability to independently analyze and debug complex issues across application code, configuration, data pipelines, and runtime dependencies under production pressure.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset: drives ambiguous problems to closure, communicates status clearly, documents outcomes, and implements preventative improvements.
• Strong documentation and engineering discipline: produces clear technical specs, integration mapping documents, API/interface contracts, runbooks, and support procedures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to explain technical trade-offs, influence decisions, and align cross-functional teams on practical solutions.

  • Experience operating or supporting multi-system integration ecosystems where uptime, monitoring, and operational rigor are critical.
  • Experience coordinating releases across multiple components (custom apps + integrations + web platform) with clear deployment controls and rollback awareness.
• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Required
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience supporting business-critical applications and services.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development/support experience with .NET (C#) applications/services.
  • 5+ years of experience building or supporting enterprise integrations using Boomi and/or Talend (or comparable integration platforms).
  • Demonstrated experience owning production support for critical systems, including incident response, root-cause analysis, and prevention-focused improvements.
  • Strong experience producing high-quality technical documentation and working in a collaborative, team-based delivery/support model.
• Preferred
• Experience supporting WordPress in production environments and troubleshooting stability/security/performance issues.
• Experience supporting integrated customer-facing workflows where data consistency and reliability across systems is essential.
