Etsy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Security team. As part of the larger Security org, we secure the infrastructure that runs our production and corporate environments.

We do this by creating and enforcing cloud security policies, partnering with engineering teams with unique infrastructure needs, building and maintaining tools and services to help engineers deploy secure infrastructure by default, and maintaining and tuning our bot protection

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Infrasec expertise (cloud and network security).
• Strong foundational knowledge of cloud security (GCP a plus).
• Experience with linux and container security.
• Experience with terraform a plus.
• Experience with threat modeling a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to vulnerability remediation discussions.
• Analyze findings from our CSPM to identify patterns to remediate.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud and network security features.
• Reproduce external vulnerability reports.
• Develop and tune agents to help drive our shift towards agentic workflows.

Position

What's the role? Etsy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Security team. As part of the larger Security org, we secure the infrastructure that runs our production and corporate environments. We do this by creating and enforcing cloud security policies, partnering with engineering teams with unique infrastructure needs, building and maintaining tools and services to help engineers deploy secure infrastructure by default, and maintaining and tuning our bot protection mechanisms. This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager - Infrastructure Security. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. Candidates living within commutable distance of our Mexico City office, and then Guadalajara, may be the first to be considered.
